Dear Democrats: Why is it that you have blown through at least $100 million in campaign donations in each of the past two election cycles (2002 and 2004, and Al Gore's tepid "free pass" for Gov. Bush's environmental trashing, education slashing, budget-busting, code-word smearing campaign in 2000 as well), yet if we American citizens want the REAL record of Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld-DeLay-Scalia incompetence, corruption, derision, and scorn, we have to search the internet???
Here is Crooks & Liars CAPTURE of Vice President Dick Cheney's contention that THERE WOULD BE **NO** INSURGENCY IN IRAQ.

Or how about video of Donald Rumsfeld saying "No one knows how long this war will last... 6 days, 6 weeks, I doubt if six months?"
Or how about Rumsfeld's protestations of IGNORANCE re the looting of Baghdad (and looting of ammunition to be used against US troops from Saddam's ammunition bunkers AFTER the US "victory" over Iraqi forces),
"In war THINGS HAPPEN"?
Or Rumsfeld's farcical-on-its face declaration "We know where Saddam's weapons of mass destruction are... they are in the area to the north, south, east, and west around Bagdhad and Tikrit."
Talk about hedging one's bets.. clearly, Mr. Rumsfeld didn't know WHAT the hell he was talking about, he made it up as he was going, and of course the Democrats NEVER CALLED HIM ON IT!
Or how about President Bush saying, "I'M REALLY NOT THAT CONCERNED ABOUT bin LADEN ANYMORE... he REALLY DOESN'T CONCERN ME THAT MUCH ANYMORE."
Or how about Dick Cheney telling us Americans "it's NONE OF OUR BUSINESS!" knowing who attended his SECRET Energy Task Force?
Or how about the Republicans subpoenaing EVERY SCRAP OF PAPER from the past two-dozen years regarding the Clintons, and then, as soon as Mr. Bush gained the White House, stamping "TOP SECRET!" on ALL the CLINTON, Bush Sr., and Reagan presidential papers, and sending them off under lock-and-key to the VERBOTTEN (forbidden) Bush presidential archives in the University of Texas (or is it Texas A&M University?)
MoveOn.org created a campaign ad using the VIDEO TAPES of President Bush saying "I'm truly not that concerned with bin Laden anymore" after Bush denied, in the 3rd presidential debate, making those comments...
....and the ____! Kerry campaign REFUSED to use the video!!
THAT was INEXCUSABLE incompetence and ABJECT DERELICTION OF DUTY to FIGHT BACK against the Bush-GOP lies and spin-machine on the part of Mr. Kerry, at a vital part of his campaign in the last weeks of October 2004.
IF the Kerry campaign had merely polished up the MoveOn video ad - highlighting Mr. Bush snearing "I never said that.. my opponent is e_x_a_g_g_e_r_a_t_i_n_g" while contrasting the videos of exactly that "I'm not that concerned about bin Laden" comment - and used THAT video ad in each and every one of their campaign spots until election night, Mr. Kerry would have WON BY TEN PERCENTAGE POINTS over the president, Deibold & Republican disenfranchisement efforts be damned.
This Mr. Kerry REFUSED to do.
The Democratic Party is, even today, ABJECTLY FAILING to INFORM VOTERS of the true agenda and record and incompetence of the Republican Administration.
