"Races tightening" because Dem "leaders" AGREE with Bush-Rove and "major media" to CENSOR the WINNING issues & strategy of the Lamont campaign...!

Well, we here at C-dems.blgspt.com set up this blog because we were tired of feeling hapless, hopless, victimized, and violated every time a Kerry, Gore, Lieberman, Daschle or Lieberman (again) SNATCHED DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY and LOST a HUGE, major election.

(note: Traitor-Joe was in the thick of TWO disastrous Dem loses, the 2000 presidential election when he sold Florida's disenfranchised minority voters DOWN_THE_RIVER, and again in 2002 when, as Chairman of the Sen. Govt. Affairs Committee, he sold ENRON workers, pensioners, investors, and energy-customers DOWN_THE_RIVER by throwing a wet-blanket on the Enron investigation in HIS committee, thereby ROBBING 2002 Democratic candidates of their BEST ISSUE... the chance to paint Republicans as CORRUPT, and the chance to TIE Mr. Bush to his own biggest campaign donors through at least FOUR major elections and campaigns - Ken Lay and ENRON, of inflated stock values, insider-dumping, and rigged markets infamy.)

WA-AY back in February of this year, we predicted that the Democrats WERE GOING TO LOSE THIS ELECTION, because not only had they FAILED to START FIGHTING on the big issues... BUT THEY WERE ON RETREAT from most of them!

Here it is MID-SEPTEMBER 2006, and ALL of our predictions are coming true.

Just TRY to think of a MAIN THEME of the Democrat "LEADERSHIP" this campaign season!

You CAN'T! The best you can do is go look at Pelosi & Reid's "Paths for Democratic Action" or whatever the hell they call their do-gooders list.... not that they aren't important, but EVERYONE knows that those timid, tepid steps are a DIVERSION and DUCKING AWAY from THE MAIN ISSUE...

THe MAIN ISSUE of this election 2006 is the GROSS INCOMPETENCE, CORRUPTION, and FRAUD of the Bush-Cheney-Rove-Rumsfeld administration (and their war(s))!

By way of comparison, EVERYONE *KNOWS* that the Repubs are running on a theme of "SMEAR DEMORATS as 'cut and runners' who 'aren't loyal' and who 'would betray America to our enemies!'"

The SMEAR of Democrats is, as always, GRADUALLY WORKING.... just like it did (duh) in 2000, 2002, 2004, and all through 2005 and now 2006. Hell, the Bush-Rove-Cheney team even SMEARED Vietnam war triple-amputee Senator Max Cleland who lost his seat (in a suspcious vote total, at that).... because the damn national Democrats REFUSED TO FIGHT BACK!

The President went to Congress the other day begging for KGB/GESTAPO powers of arrest, incarceration, torture, execution, and indefinite detentions - with NO OVERSIGHT or need for explanation anything to anyone! (can any one say "SS concentration camps"?) - and we read from the waPost and nyTimes that it is REPUBLICAN Senators carrying the heavy load and PR (media face) of publicly opposing the president's KGB/Gestapo death-powers request!

And, as always, when the Bush White House can concentrate their arm-twisting efforts on two or three senators (or on even a dozen "RETREAT FIRST!" Democrats), they SOON get their way, by sheer arm-twising and unleashing the Swiftboat SMEAR machine, and then the Right-Wing ECHO CHAMBER.

The Bush-Rove-Cheney-Frist Senate SHOT DOWN the Patty Murray Amendment to fund $2.7 billion for VETERAN's CARE and REHAB for war-traumatized veterans. (Remember, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney and Mr. Rumsfeld PROMISED us Americans that #1.) our troops would be welcomed in Iraq with open arms and flowers, and #2.) that not only would the occupation pay for itself; but that #3.) "MAJOR COMBAT OPERATIONS are over!" - way back in 2003). THREE LONG YEARS LATER, Veteran's funding has NOT been at all commensurate with the toll taken on our combat troops - returning troops Mr. Bush, his administration, and Rethuglicans can IGNORE, because they can get away with it!

OF COURSE the Democrats are too cowardly and too incapable to ACTUALLY DEMAND and MAKE Republicans *SUPPORT THE TROOPS* as they claim to! You could hardly ask for a better example of Democrat 'leadership' SURRENDERING THE HIGH GROUND of a major PR and "Moral Values" issue than the "WE SUPPORT THE TROOPS!" issue, with both Repubs and Dems.abandoning troops and veterans alike, in Iraq and once they return to America. But the Murray Amendment is only one among many issue the Democrats SURRENDER THE HIGH GROUND on, an already FORGOTTEN issue the Democrats COULD BLAST the Bush-Republicans for.... because THAT'S HOW THE COWERING Dem. "Leadership" WANTS IT!

The cowardly Democratic Leadership DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO GET 1/100th as "radical" in their accusations and demands as we here at C-dems.blgspt.com do... ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS TAKE Ned Lamont's WINNING CAMPAIGN THEMES, strategy, and tactics.. AND GO NATIONAL WITH THEM.

EVERY DAY, the Dem Senate could have gathered on the steps of the capitol to CONFRONT the Bush-Rove-Cheney-Rumsfeld record OF CORRUPTION and FRAUD and looted treasury in time of war, but they REFUSE to do so.... they would rather let REPUBLICANS WIN THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS than CONFRONT Republican/administration wrongdoing!

What we have here is a case of POLITICAL FRAUD: Democrats PRETENDING to offer up an "OPPOSITION PARTY," but like JOE LIEBERMAN selling Florida's Black voters DOWN-the-RIVER in the 2000 Florida vote recount and SELLING ENRON workers, pensioners, investors, and energy customers DOWN-the-RIVER in QUASHING the 2002 Senate ENRON investigation, we HAVE ONLY THE APPEARANCE of an opposition party, WITH NO SUBSTANCE on dozens of LIFE-&-DEATH issues.

HOW could we predict in Feb. of 2006.... with bad news and horrific policy breaking out everywhere due to Bush-GOP misrule and mis-governance, that all this - tightening of the polls, gas prices dropping, an upswing of Bush approval, A VACUUM or lack of a NATIONWIDE COORDINATED DEMOCRATIC MESSAGE - would come down in September/October of 2006?

Answer: EASY!: The Democrat "leadership" HAS MADE AN ART of SNATCHING DEFEAT FROM the jaws of VICTORY, and LAYING DOWN and ROLLING OVER for the Karl Rove/George W. Bush Swiftboat SMEAR MACHINE, and their corporate media handmaidens and the echo chamber of the radical right-wing.

Tightening races boost state GOP's confidence

"I'm not trying to scare anyone," he said. "I'm trying to tell the people of my state exactly what I see."

Santorum, who alluded to his rocky relations with the press as he hopped from room to room to meet with regional caucuses earlier in the morning, later refused to talk when a Patriot-News reporter approached with a question about Iran. He complained about what he called biased coverage.

"I have to raise tens of millions of dollars because of the junk you feed the people of Pennsylvania," he said. He then used an expletive to describe the coverage and slammed down a newspaper.
A spokesman for Democratic Senate candidate Casey, Larry Smar, said Santorum "has a long history of shooting his mouth off and not taking responsibility for his actions and blaming others."

Santorum's attacks on Casey and television advertising show "a desperate candidate who is coming unglued and resorting to blatantly misleading attacks in an attempt to salvage his fading re-election hopes," Smar said.

Despite the renewed optimism that came from the podium yesterday, many lawmakers and party leaders offered blunt assessments of the challenge they face.

"The mood is very tough nationally and certainly in the southeast, where we have a lot of Democrats and a lot of independents and our base is a lot more moderate," said U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa.

"Iraq is a gigantic problem," he said, "And we're searching for a way to extricate ourselves from Iraq, but we're not going to leave the country in shambles."

Swann attacked Rendell for raising how much Pennsylvanians pay for birth certificates, death certificates and the taxes on the income they earn in between.

"We're going to take Ed Rendell out of Harrisburg forever, and -- make no mistake about it -- we intend to take him out, and he has given us every reason to take him out," Swann said
