Issue for Democrats to run on in 2006. Rep. Pelosi, feel free to pic-n-choose....

(Sigh)

MILLIONS of dollars sent in by Democratic voters to Democrat Campaigns and committees...
....HUNDREDS of Dem. campaign "consultants" and campaign managers..
.... DOZENS of issues that the Bush-Cheney-Rove Repub. Party
HAND OVER, on a silver platter, for Dems to use as campaign fodder..

...and STILL we have NO COHERENT Dem. national campaign strategy in 2006?

WHAT's WITH DAT??!

Well, Here we go!
Free of charge, SURE-FIRE wining issues for ANY Dem. who feels like so much as MENTIONING them.
It is scarcely credible that here we are, mid-July of 2006, and the dang Democrats are running around like a herd of sheep dreading the onslaught of a pack of starving wolves. But this metaphor is NO ILLUSION: as our previous posts on Senator Lieberman show, he can actually get in front of Connecticut voters, and PRETEND that there is ONLY ONE ISSUE this summer - Lieberman's pathetic "Ned Lamont is a SINGLE ISSUE CANDIDATE" whine, with fellow Democrats rushing to poor Joe's side.

#1. India and North Korea launching MORE missiles and developing MORE nukes, as Bush tries to make a case for WAR against Iran... for trying to do the same thing... develop uranium enrichment and ballistic missiles?

WHAT international principle of law is it that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and their nazis-in-a-pocket (er, "neo-cons") can START A WAR AGAINST ONE COUNTRY, for doing something OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE ALREADY DONE??

Face it, the Bush/Republican Party JIHAD against the NUCLEAR NON-PROLIFERATION PROTOCOLS are a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY... the only reason we (the American public) don't feel this way, is because Republican propaganda has been so effective at SNEERING at the rest of humanity as being somehow sub-human, you know, the yellow-skins and brown-skins DON'T COUNT, just as the way plantation slaves didn't count, except with the 3/5ths Compromise to the US Constitution declared that SLAVES WERE 3/5ths of a man... for the benefit and power OF THEIR 'OWNERS,' EXCLUSIVELY.

HALLELUJAH!

AND, on top of the Bush-Rethuglians SABOTAGING the NNPT - Nuclear Non-Proliferation Protocal - generically, the Bush admin. GAVE Pakistan nuke scientist A.Q. Khan a "FREE PASS" for HIS role in developing, not just Pakistan's nuclear arsenal, but HELPING TO EXPORT THAT technology TO North Korea and Iran?!

WHAT we have hea, is no more and no less than the ALPHA and OMEGA of right-wing ideology - the ability to DISCARD international law when it suits them, while USING the FIG-LEAF of international law to ATTACK OTHER COUNTRIES and reinstate the slave trade. er... commence the "benevolent occupation" of Iraq, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kirgistan, Iran, Guantanamo, South America, Russia, China, the Baltic States, and a dozen more or lesser countries, under the tender mercies of Jefferson Davis and his able associates.

#2. Budget Deficits.

BUSH_BUDGET_DEFICITS.

Democrats should NEVER appear in public, NEVER comment in front of a microphone, and NEVER appear on TV, without statingl calmly but firmly:

"The_BUSH_BUDGET_DEFICTS_WEAKEN_AMERICA."

They make us LESS STRONG economically, make us DEPENDENT on FOREIGN lenders, and weaken the influence of the US dollar.

What is it about saying

"BUSH_DEFICITS, BUSH_DEFICTS, BUSH_DEFICITS, BUSH_DEFICTS, BUSH_DEFICITS, BUSH_DEFICTS, BUSH_DEFICITS, BUSH_DEFICTS, BUSH_DEFICITS, BUSH_DEFICTS, BUSH_DEFICITS, BUSH_DEFICTS, BUSH_DEFICITS, BUSH_DEFICTS,

...that the Democrats are SO AFRAID OF? Do they think, for a moment, if Clinton, Gore or Kerry were in the White House, Karl Rove and his pack of wailing demons from hell wouldn't be shouting "CLINTON DEFICITS!" to the high heavens, 24/7/365 ?

#3. OUTSOURCING of US Jobs, factories.. and even High-Tech industries and technology?!

Under the Repub. congress and White House, business executives are REWARDED - with US tax cuts and rebates - for outsourcing US jobs and technology to China and India... even high-tech "driving the American tech-boom" type jobs!

These are the kind of jobs that Japan's "Iron Triangle" (the iron-rule center of Japanese politics and power comprised of government bureacracy, business leaders, and politicians) spend MILLIONS of dollars trying to dream up and create in Japan... and here the US government of George W. Bush is, ENCOURAGING American companies to OUTSOURCE and ship overseas to China, India, and other cheap-labor economies!

#4. TAX CUTS for multi-millionaires AND BILLIONAIRES in Time_of_war, including estate tax REPEAL.

Repubs LOVE to SCAPEGOAT and SMEAR individual Dems on opponents, to VILLIFY their opposition as PERSONIFYING EVIL. Dems could PERSONIFY the Repub. "End of State Tax" campaign as, for example, THE PARIS HILTON tax-free!' campaign. Targetting the wealthiest families for public personification of the end-of-estate tax campaign that those families are funding is, of course, MILES beyond anything the Democrats are capable of doing, but we can always DREAM that Dems. will actually using Karl Rove's WINING techniques, especially when employed in pursuit of the TRUTH.

#5. Maybe we should put the little ol' Iraq war down at #5. or so..?
And lump ALL the corruption, incompetence, lies, deceptions, and follies from that war in one oh-so-pleasant discussion?? NO beed to bother - even then, the Democrats STILL wouldn't have a snow-ball's chance in hell of making it a competent campaign issue. But, again, we can dream.
-> From pre-war planning (humiliation of Gen. Shinseki by Don Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz) to DISBANDING the Iraq army and police to ALLOWING the looting of Baghdad and entire ammunition bunkers by insurgents under the nose of US troops doing KP duty!.. to Halliburton no-bid contracts to NO BODY ARMOR or Humvee armor for a full year (and no national urgency to provide either); to TORTURE at Abu Ghraib (and elsewhere); to shafting guard and reserve troops with triple-tours of duty for a MISSION that is ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED; to warehousing returning injured combat veterans and defending VA in relation to thousands of new veterans requiring care; to urging the irate locals to try to injure those troops ("Bring it on!"); to trying to pass off a theocratic state that considers all women (over 1/2 of the population to be CHATTEL PROPERTY...
(sigh)

#6. New Orleans rebuilding debacle, FEMA cronyism, incompetence, and complete failure of Bush admin. to provide a COMPREHENSIVE long-term environmental action plan - the sort that HOLLAND came up with YEARS AGO.

We're just getting started here, folks! Stop back for more "issues for Clueless Democrat Leaders to Run on in '06" later!

50 Easy Questions to Ask Any Republican
Robert J. Elisberg
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-j-elisberg/50-easy-questions-to-ask-_b_24815.html

Anyone can ask tough, intricate, confrontational questions. But all that ever does is start an argument, and it gets people nowhere. On the other hand, these are...well, easy. These are friendly questions. These are questions that allow another person to actually explain their thoughts, and explain fully. And to do so in as comfortable, as simple a way as possible.

Without feeling attacked. Without feeling pressure. Without feeling no one cares what they have to say. Friendly. Easy.
Print them out, carry them around in your pocket, and the next time someone begins quoting from a Republican talking points memo, take the list out and ask.
